Frequently asked questions
- What counts as a query?
- Each time you submit a question and receive an answer, that counts as one query. Questions we deflect for safety (for example, to your vet or to 911) do not count against your limit.
- Does one plan cover OurAg and OurLand?
- Yes. One Farmetrics account and one subscription work on both OurAg (ranching) and OurLand (outdoors and public lands).
- What sources do you use?
- Official guidance from the National Park Service, US Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, US Fish & Wildlife Service, NOAA/National Weather Service and CDC, plus open-access peer-reviewed research. We never present state hunting or fishing regulations as fact — we point you to your state agency.
- Can OurLand help in an emergency?
- No. If someone is hurt, lost, or in danger, call 911 (or text 911 / use a satellite messenger without signal) and contact the nearest ranger station. OurLand is for planning and learning, not for live emergencies.
- Can I cancel anytime?
- Yes. Cancel anytime from Manage billing in the app. Your subscription remains active through the end of the billing period.
- What happens when I hit my monthly limit?
- Your usage is shown in the app header. Once you reach your limit, you can upgrade to continue asking questions, or wait until your limit resets at the start of the next calendar month.
